Olympic swimmers still focused

The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Swimming Association, Mohamed Turay, said the swimmers are still focused and determined to create impact after the COVID-19. He said if not for the COVID-19 two of their swimmers should be in the Sierra Leone delegation for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan. He stated they were able to achieve that because the swimmers and the executive who include the technical team were focused on the need to qualify for the Games, which they were the first association in the country to qualify for such a major event. The Technical Director, Victor Carew, said he was happy for such achievement and they have qualified for two Olympic Games.
