Tennis Association constructs two tennis courts

The Sierra Leone Tennis Association (SLTA) is concurrently constructing two tennis courts of international standard, with open stands for spectators. According to some members of the association, the courts are being constructed in anticipation of hosting future international tournaments, and organising bigger national competitions of all categories. The construction of the tennis courts and open stands will be completed soon, after which the association can boast of four tennis courts.

According to Ishmael Koroma, who has been keenly following the association’s activities, the current executive has done a lot to develop tennis in the country, which is good for the sport. He went on to thank the current executive for the strides they have made giving the association a facelift in terms of constructing tennis courts.
