WARDC gets new Chief Administrator

The Westérn Area Rural District Council (WARDC) on Friday 10th July, 2020 held its monthly Ordinary Council sitting in the Conference Hall in Waterloo, Westérn Rural District. Chairman of the Western Rural District, Kasho J. Holland Cole welcomed the newly posted core staff and officially introduced the newly posted Chief Administrator for WARDC, Mr Raman Tom Farmar.

Chairman Cole referred to the CA, Tom Farmar as a result-oriented Chief Administrator who is willing to support the council achieve its goal. “Mr Raman Tom Farmar is a seasoned Administrator, who before joining WARDC, was the Chief Administrator of Port Loko District Council.” Mr Raman Tom Farmar in his Statement thanked the Chairman and Ward Councilors of WARDC, welcoming him in the Western Rural District.

He promised to collectively work with the council for progress and development.

He used the platform to introduce the other posted core staff. Mr Kao Kamara (Finance Officer), Mr Yambasu Maada Sowa (Procurement Officer), Sheku Jah (Valuation Officer) Abdulai Kallon (Internal Auditor), Mohamed Karimu (Human Resource Officer) Marian Tucker (ESO), Theophilus Tengbeh (Accountant), Maurice Ellie (DPO). Devolved Sectors, Core and Support Staff, Members of the fourth estate, Civil Society Representatives, Community Stakeholders were present to witness the ordinary council monthly sitting.

The sitting ended with a discussion on the devolved Sectors fund and the development of the Western Rural District.
