The accused was arrested on 10 November 2019 by detective police constable A.F. Kamara. The Police allege on Thursday 31 October 2019 at Attaya Base Hill Top, Hill Station in Freetown Moijua stole a blue/black TVS motorcycle valued at Le5,500,000. The prosecutor, ASP Y.E. Koroma alleged that the 26-year old bike rider, pawned the motorbike to David Massaquoi, but later withdrew it from him and sold it to someone in Waterloo and refunded the former’s money. Apparently, Sorie Jawara, the complainant, arrested and brought in two suspects Jelanie Moijua and David Massaquoi, but after investigation it was proven that the latter was not involved and released for want of evidence. The Magistrate said the accused pleaded guilty to the offense.
