Blyden’s action towards the children was cowardly -Nenneh Turay testifies

The former Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Gender and Children’s Affairs (MSWGCA) has told the Commission of Enquiry that she indeed stated in her letter to the former Minister Sylvia Olayinka Blyden that her action towards the children was cowardly. State Counsel Robert B. Kowa was re-examining the witness on exhibit (MSW) AL1-3 (Letter to Minister dated 11th July, 2017), which document was referencing the issue of the children that were allegedly beaten up within the premises of the Ministry on 28th December, 2016. The witness agreed that she wrote in exhibit (MSW) AL1-3 that Blyden has portrayed herself as a brave and fearless person, “but that action towards the children is the typical behaviour of a coward. That incident would not go unpunished” she testified.
