Four Premier League matches slated for this weekend

Four Premier League matches have been lined up this weekend. Defending champions East End Lions take on Freetown City FC on Saturday 11th January 2020. The FCFC are looking for another surprise victory to repeat their last match stunner over FC Johansen. According to Issa Sesay, East End Lions have won their last two matches and are feeling confident and strong. He noted the Lions may be gearing up to re-run their last season championship. On Sunday 12 January 2020, three Premier League matches will be played. In Kenema, the Kamboi Eagles will host Mighty Blackpool. The Blackpolians have yet to win a match and will be gunning for the Eagles. The Eagles are looking to defend their unbeaten streak by thwarting the offence of the Mighty Blackpool shooters. On Sunday 12th January 2020, Kono Diamond Stars will host Old Edwardians in Kono. Old Edwardians are looking for their third win and hope to scratch out 10 points from their five matches. But, the Diamond Stars are determined to stop the Edwardian forwards and break through their defence.  At the National Stadium, RSLAF will host Port Authority. The military guys cannot afford to lose another match to extend their losing streak to two matches in a row. Ports Authority are coming off a win against Anti-Drugs (1-0) on Wednesday at the Stadium. The waterfront boys now carry seven points, heavily relying on Julius Goba, who was named the man-of-the-match against the Anti-Drugs.
