Military medical doctor’s murder trial commences at High Court

High Court presided by Justice Manuela Harding has commenced trial of Mohamed Bailor Jah (accused) in the murder case of his younger brother Lieutenant Mohamed Lamrana Jah (deceased). The deceased was a medical doctor attached to the 34 Military Hospital at Wilberforce in Freetown. The allegation is that on 7th September 2018 at Newsite, Mayemi Allen Town his elder brother allegedly killed him. The accused was arraigned before the Judge at the Siaka Stevens Street High Court in Freetown, on Thursday 3rd October 2019 on one count of Murder contrary to the Offences against the Person Act, 1861.
