George Wyndham is a paralympian athlete and coach in table tennis. He has won medals from around the world, attended Olympic events and is the most internationally decorated sports personality in Sierra Leone. He will depart today, Monday 10th February 2020, for Germany, to attend the Proud Paralympian Program. He will attend lectures provided by the World Sports Academy. After the training program, he will be part of a team that will deliver Proud Paralympian Programs across the world to disabled athletes. The President of the National Paralympics Committee, Unisa Deen Kargbo, said the flight ticket and accommodation was provided by the Agitos Foundation. He also stated that the CEO of CICA Motors in Freetown is also helping Wyndham to travel to Germany. A cheque for over Le9 million was presented as allowances and for which the Association thanked both Agitos Foundation and CEO of CICA Motors in Freetown. According to Wyndham, he is very happy to again represent the country and will do his best so his presence is felt. He added, he is well accustomed to being an ambassador for Sierra Leone and is proud to wear the green, white and blue for his country.
