Police arrest two in Port Loko suspected of cannabis possession

Chief Superintendent, Brima Kamara, Head of Police Media, has said the Police have seized 779 neatly taped packets in 12 bundles of suspected cannabis sativa at the Mange Check Point, Port Loko District. Kamara said the suspected large quantity of cannabis sativa was seized on Thursday 5th September 2019, from a dark grey Hyundai SUV, with a Guinean number plate. He said the Police had a tip that alerted them to the vehicle’s payload. He added the vehicle was found parked in front of the residence of Alimamy Kargbo (Labor) at Mange awaiting conveyance from Mile 91 through Mange via Guinea.
