Ports Authority set for camping… Ahead of Confederation cup tie

One of Sierra Leone’s representative to this year’s CAF Confederation Cup Ports Authority FC will move to camp this week in preparation for their first leg clash against Toure Kunda footpro of Senegal.
Ports Authority will soon travel to Dakar for the first leg clash later this month and Coach Christian Cole is on top gear in his preparation drive.
According to the club’s scribe, Idrissa Mago Tarawallie, the team will encamp either at Hasting or at the football Academy, Kingtom.
“As an executive we are doing all we can to provide all the necessary items to keep the team fit and in top gear to face the Senegalese,” Mago said.
The Technical Director , Christian Cole told Awoko sports that he is satisfied with the response of the players so far in training but maintained that they still need to improve in few areas as they want to eliminate their counterparts at all cost.
He said: “The boys are responding well to training and that is why we will be engaging in several local friendly matches to keep the boys fit. It is good we are going there for the first leg and I believe we can produce good result in Dakar to ease the pressure on us for the return leg in Freetown.”
Meanwhile, the Toure Kunda footpro blistering start in the Senegal D1 league was halted conceding top position to US Ouakam.
The Confederation’s Cup representative saw their grip at the top of the table slip away after their first defeat of the season against Niary Tally at home, despite a commendable fire-packed attacking line and now stays fourth in the league with seven points.
