Sierra Leone to compete in Amputee Nations Cup in Angola

Sierra Leone Amputee National team is expected to compete in the 5th Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) in Angola. According to the Public Relation Officer of the Amputee team, Albert Mustapha, the delegation was supposed to depart over the weekend but was assured by the government that the delegation will leave on Wednesday 3rd October 2019. They have informed the organizers about their coming late to the tournament. Accordingly President of the Federation of Africa Amputee Football (FAAF), Richard Nii Amartey Adesah, is confident the 5th Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) tournament would be great. “Reports I am getting from the participating countries give me the confidence that the tournament shall be great,” Adesah declared from his base in Accra. He said, Angola has proven its mettle over the years and with the President of the country lending his support to the event, one can be assured of something superb.
