SLNA provides over Le100m scholarship to nursing students

The Sierra Leone Nursing Association (SLNA) California branch on Thursday 12th September 2019 presented a total of Le106,138 ,800 as two years scholarship to 43 nursing students across the country. The presentation which took place at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation Conference hall, saw nursing students from the Ernest Bai Koroma University, Njala University and the College of Medicine  and Allied Health Sciences. Reading a statement on behalf of SLNA, Bockarie Conteh recalled that SLNA was founded in 2007 by able Sierra Leonean nurses in order to give back to the nursing profession as a whole. He pointed out that the quality of health care system is one of the fundamental responsibilities of nursing. “Nursing is not only about money, it mainly about the care that your patient receives from you. ”
