Bo Rangers chairman Babadi Kamara said the club has acquired Sartie FC and renamed it Bo Rangers Junior FC, with Coach Hallowell appointed as caretaker coach to oversee the young lads. Kamara affirmed that Bo Rangers will continue to strive and lure young and exciting talents into the first team as they continue their transformation drive. “That’s part of the rebranding of the club”, Babadi said. “This is a model I have been working on; and I strongly believe, should this strategy work properly, our home grown players from the township and environs will dominate the first team instead of spending millions of Leones on players outside Bo”.
He said coach Hallowell will work with the junior side to integrate the best young talents into the first team, adding: “I will reward any young player that shows the level of ability and attitude. This is part of our strategic model for the club, and all of us want to see young players grasp such opportunity”.
Babadi said once the COVID-19 induced ban is lifted on football, the team will start massive scouting and training of players.
